RE: 21 OPEN CALL

GUEST CURATED BY

EFREM ZELONY MINDELL

For our 21st iteration, Re: Art Show is pleased to announce an open call for submissions guest curated by artist, writer, and curator, Efrem Zelony Mindell.

Exhibition Dates: May 19th - June 10th

Location: Re: Art Show, 630 Flushing Ave.

Curatorial Statement:

The Pfizer building is an incredibly exciting site. It's anatomical, and feels like being inside a body. It grows as works, artists, and viewers interact. The space yearns to be activated by people who are inspired and excited by it. For RE: 21, works will be considered based on the premise of engaging the space of this building in transition. We are looking for artists working in all mediums based off of their drive, comfort, and engagement to yield fascinating, immersive, and atmospheric results. Works and proposals can range from new works that are site specific made especially for this show, extended performances, as well as pieces from current bodies of work. Again, there are no limits to the kinds of medium we are looking for. RE: 21 is about the engagement of multidisciplinary artists, their works, and an ever changing environment.

WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS
